How Americans envision their dream home?

Americans have always been concerned about having a property; it has been a big part of the famous “American Dream”, recounted Market Watch.
Obviously, priorities have changed in recent years. Many people do not buy a property as a commitment, but as the best for their lifestyle.
Your dream house
Americans are not so fond of mansions, but rather they prefer suburban houses ideal for middle-class families. In a study conducted by Trulia 44 percent of the respondents stated that are in favour of buying a home with these characteristics.
In connection with the chosen place to live, the 27 percent wants to reside in the countryside and other 27 percent wants to live in the suburbs, while just 8 percent prefers to live in big cities.
The dream house of a common American must have a pool, barbecue, garden and a balcony in case of a two-storey house.
Results of the survey
According to the data publish by Trulia, 71 percent of Americans attach real importance to buying a home as part of the“American dream”, and five years ago the percentage was higher, it was 77 percent.
The Survey of 2000 adults in the United States also showed that the three quarters of married people with children under the age of 18 are intended to buy a house to reside permanently. Additionally, the 69 percent of the singles without children also are intended to buy a property to reside lastingly.
According to the study, just the 35 percent of Americans has already bought their dream house.
Furthermore, Only 14 percent of the survey population claimed that they will buy a property next year, and the 69 percent stated that they will do it in two years.
Preferences
Most people agree that they prefer modern homes, since they do not want to be slaves of their homes, making continued improvements at home.
Among preferred American styles are ranches, colonial style houses and penthouses.
